Investments in Leadership
Leadership doesn’t just need advice—it needs backing.
Through direct investments and the OnRivr Foundation, I support leaders who are building what’s next.
Sometimes that backing comes as committed capital; other times, it includes a board seat and active involvement. The same is true across both sides of my work—whether investing in a founder-led business or serving on the board of a nonprofit that’s creating access and opportunity.
The common thread is simple: invest in people who are willing to do the work—leaders who bring vision, integrity, and the courage to keep moving forward.
Investments
I’ve spent much of my career building and leading companies—and what I’ve learned is simple: every great investment starts with leadership.
That’s where I begin. I invest in people before I invest in products. I look for leaders with clarity, grit, and the ability to turn vision into reality. When that foundation is strong, the rest—product, market fit, opportunity—comes into focus.
Over the years, I’ve co-founded and led six companies, guided several through successful exits, and helped raise and deploy hundreds of millions of dollars through a private equity firm I co-founded. I’ve also invested personally across a range of industries and real estate ventures, often taking an active role as a board member or advisor.
Today, my approach remains hands-on and values-driven. I’m drawn to businesses led by thoughtful operators who are building for the long term—leaders who care about people, performance, and purpose in equal measure. If you’re building something meaningful and believe there’s alignment, I’m always open to a conversation.
OnRivr Foundation
Healthier humans. Collaborative communities.
The OnRivr Foundation was built on the same principle that guides all of my work—every lasting change begins with leadership. My philanthropy is grounded in that belief.
Through the Foundation, I support nonprofit organizations and initiatives led by people who are creating impact in their communities. Sometimes that means contributing to long-term programs; other times, it’s helping a leader take the next meaningful step in their work.
I keep the approach simple: start with trusted leadership, understand the mission, and provide support where it can do the most good. Whether that support comes through funding, connection, or quiet encouragement, the intent is the same—to invest in leaders who are making a difference.
